  1. Absolute is something that is certain and concrete. It has no implication of any sort of change. Absolute is always final and cannot be manipulated.

  2. Absolute is something that cannot be changed. It is complete and final. When something is absolute it only has one meaning, and that meaning will always be the same.

  3. Absolute means that this object, idea, statement, etc. can be interpreted or understood in only one fashion. There are not multiple ways to view something that is absolute because it is simply true. Although there are universal absolutes, I also believe that there are personal absolutes. A person's opinions and beliefs are considered to be absolute to her because it is the way that she feels and cannot be altered.

  4. Absolute is something solid that is not capable to change. It can be understood in only one way and is final.

  5. When something is absolute it has one meaning and one interpretation. On the surface a lot of things seem absolute, but in reality once you think long enough about them they really are not. Like we said in class, most people would think gender is absolute but that is not necessarily true.

  6. Absolute is something that stays the same, has one meaning, and can only be interpreted in one way. Very few things are actually absolute because many things are subject to change, can be interpreted differently, and experienced differently.
